Description of Impact
Clients were experiencing issues accessing a variety of O365 applications.
Incident Description and Resolution
The vendor identified a portion of third-party managed network infrastructure that facilitates authentication requests was degraded, affecting access to O365 services. The vendor moved services to an alternate network provider and performed numerous targeted service restarts. The vast majority of new authentications are succeeding at this time. The vendor is monitoring the service to ensure that it remains stable.
The cause of this incident was determined to be that a portion of third-party managed network infrastructure that facilitates authentication requests and access to Microsoft O365 services was degraded.
