IS&T is excited to announce the availability of the new Microsoft Teams desktop app. This updated Microsoft Teams carries with it significantly improved performance, especially on Macs, and will be Microsoft’s focus for all future new Teams features.

Beginning Tuesday, December 5^th, you’ll see a toggle switch in Teams inviting you to try the new experience:

Try the new teams by flipping the toggle switch. Available Tuesday December 5^th.

Flipping this switch will guide you to the new Teams app, named “Microsoft Teams (work or school)” with a blue “New” badge on the icon:
