Description of Impact
There were client reports of an error message being generated shortly after the sending of some mail via BU’s Office365 environment. The error message stated: “Delivery is delayed to these recipients or groups”.
Incident Description and Resolution
IS&T teams have resolved the incident by backing out a recent configuration update.

Description of Impact

Current Status
IS&T teams have not yet identified the cause of the incident, but are investigating.
Additional Information
Based on our current assessment, mail is continuing to deliver as intended, however delivery times may be throttled. This does not appear to impact all Office365 email as based on the number of reports, it appears to be a small subset of the overall messages being sent throughout the University.
