Description of Impact
Some clients received the following error message when trying to log into Lync 2011 on a Mac: “Sign in to Microsoft Lync failed because the service is not available or you may not be connected to the Internet.”

Description of Impact
Some clients receive the following error message when trying to log into Lync 2011 on a Mac:

Current Status
IS&T teams have not yet identified the cause of the incident, but are investigating.
Additional Information
The current workaround is to install the Mac version of Skype for Business.
