Description of Impact

Some clients received the following error message when trying to log into Lync 2011 on a Mac: “Sign in to Microsoft Lync failed because the service is not available or you may not be connected to the Internet.”

Description of Impact

Current Status

IS&T teams have not yet identified the cause of the incident, but are investigating.

Additional Information

The current workaround is to install the Mac version of Skype for Business. Next Update: Upon resolution
