Description of Impact

Echo360 service was degraded. Clients experienced buffering issues when watching recorded lectures.

IS&T teams have resolved the incident with vendor assistance.

Additional Information

IS&T teams are schedules to apply the new vendor reference architecture in the production environment on Sunday, November 16, 2014, during the change window.

Description of Impact

Echo360 service may be degraded. Clients may experience buffering issues when watching recorded lectures.

Current Status

IS&T teams have applied an interim recommendation from the vendor. Videos no longer appear to experience the buffering issue that clients have experienced. IS&T teams will continue to work with the vendor and have started planning additional phases of updates. We are on schedule to apply the new vendor reference architecture in the production environment on Sunday, November 9, 2014, during the change window.

The vendor is on campus today, 11/3/2014, and is working with IS&T teams toward a solution. The vendor has made improvement recommendations that will be implemented from 5am-6am on Tuesday, 11/4/2014.
