Description of Impact
Clients were unable to connect to the 802.1x wireless network. Locations currently confirmed to be affected were Student Village 2, 580 Commonwealth Ave, 533 Commonwealth Ave, and 111 Cummington Mall.

Incident Description and Resolution
IS&T teams have resolved the issue and will continue to investigate for root cause analysis. Service has returned to normal operation.

Planned changes to the wireless infrastructure on the Charles River Campus early this morning were completed to expand its capacity in order to meet ongoing growth and demand, and to add greater fault tolerance to the infrastructure. This work resulted in the inability for clients connecting to the wireless network to receive a valid network address. This was corrected at 9:40am.
