Guided BUying is now live on Monday, August 3rd!

Dear Boston University community,

Sourcing and Procurement and BUworks are excited to announce that Guided BUying is now live!

Guided BUying is a cloud-based procure-to-pay system allowing Requisitioners to easily find the goods and services they need from registered and contracted suppliers. The approval process is streamlined for Requisitioners and Approvers to have visibility into Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs) throughout the procure-to-pay process.

Getting Started in Guided BUying

  • How do I access Guided BUying? If you had Shopper or Approver access in SRM, you will have Requisitioner or Approver access in Guided BUying. If you do not have access and require the role, please reach out to your Department Security Administrator (DSA). If you are not sure who your DSA is, please contact Information Security at buinfosec@bu.edu.
  • Navigate to Guided BUying via www.bu.edu/mybuworks or clicking the following link for  MyBUworks using Firefox or Chrome.
