We continue to experience an extended hardware failure which began shortly after 6pm last night that is affecting BUworks/SAP services. The components necessary to remediate this issue have just been delivered; the vendor is on-site working with our teams to install them. BUworks is currently unavailable.Current Status
Finance, human resources, and procurement services offered through BUworks/SAP are currently unavailable due to a technical issue. We are experiencing an extended hardware failure which began shortly after 6pm last night. This failure is unusual in that it has occurred despite redundancies we have built into the environment to prevent unplanned outages. The IS&T team has worked through the night to remediate the failure, with the strongest technical resources that our hardware vendor, IBM, has in the region on site. The fix is dependent on new parts for the system expected to arrive this morning. Once we have implemented the new hardware components, the IS&T Infrastructure and Application Teams will need to validate that there was no data corruption caused by the system crash yesterday. Barring any major issues with data, we currently estimate bringing the system back online around 10:30 am.We apologize for the service interruption and will notify the community when service has been restored.
