Services Impacted: E-mail – Exchange and xmail.bu.edu, Quest, Degree Advice and Skype
Description of Impact
E-mail – Exchange and xmail.bu.edu, Quest, Degree Advice, OnBase and Skype were experiencing performance issues. Emails were getting through, just at a slower than normal speed. Additionally, ActiveSync on mobile devices was failing for some clients. Quest was offline for new connections. Degree Advice was offline. OnBase had lost some functionality – clients were able to log in and view things, but not add anything. Full service has been restored.

IS&T teams have resolved the incident.

The cause of this incident was determined to be an issue with a storage controller.
