Description of Impact
- Business Warehouse reports were unavailable for a period of 45 minutes but the access was restored as of 15:30 after a configuration change was made.
Cause: Basis was creating a new DB Connection for which they had to change the system Mode to the previous one. After work was done they had to revert it back to Compatibility Mode but by mistake chose BW/4 HANA Mode. As few objects are not supported in BW/4 HANA Mode, SAP deleted them and caused the reports to go down.
Incident Description and Resolution
Resolution: BUworks Reporting (BW) collected those objects from the development system and migrated them to production again.
