Description of Impact

BU WordPress sites were unavailable as a result of an intermittent issue making connections to the supporting database. After this issue was resolved, BU WordPress sites are now responding as expected.

Description of Impact

WordPress sites such as www.bu.edu/tech and www.bu.edu/cas are currently unavailable. Clients attempting to access the websites encounter the following error: Error establishing a database connection. Top level (bu.edu) wordpress is functioning as expected.

Current Status

IS&T teams have not yet identified the cause of the incident, but are investigating.
