COMPLETED: OnBase software platform to be upgraded to version 15 from August 6th through 9th.
Friday, August 7th, 2015
The OnBase server upgrade to version 15 has been completed. OnBase should be available and functioning normally on Monday morning.
You will not be able to use OnBase until the client(s) on your desktop have been upgraded. You are welcome to try OnBase and if a version 15 client comes up you should be fine. If a version 13 client comes up than your client installation has not yet been upgraded. Desktop Services in each area is responsible to upgrade clients.
If you do not have an OnBase 15 client on Monday, please log a help desk ticket to your Desktop Support area through the appropriate and usual channels. If you have some other problem with OnBase on Monday, please log a Service Now help desk ticket and the OnBase team will review, reassign or respond to your ticket as appropriate.
Previous Update
OnBase will be unavailable from 5 pm Friday August 7th until Monday August 10th at 8 am. We will be upgrading and validating the software on the servers during that time. We will send another notice confirming that OnBase is back up and running for Monday morning. If there are any issues and OnBase will not be available at 8 am Monday morning, we will send another email as well.
Upgraded OnBase Clients should be pushed to user desktops over the weekend or will be manually installed on Monday depending the area. Users will not be able to access OnBase on Monday until upgraded clients are installed.
If you encounter issues with OnBase on Monday morning after the announcement that it is back up and running, please contact the IT Help Center at ithelp@bu.edu.
