Description of Impact

Multiple locations and systems on campus were affected by power outages today. The BUPD phone system went down. The 881 datacenter transitioned to generator power. Some classes were affected and some dorms lost power.

Incident Description and Resolution

All locations have had their power restored. The BUPD phone system is working again. 881 Comm Ave and 10/25 Buick St have transitioned off the emergency generator. If you continue to have issues, please contact the IT Help Center.

Description of Impact

Multiple locations on campus were affected by power outages today, including the BUPD phone system.

Current Status

Most locations have had their power restored. The BUPD phone system is working again. There are still reports of some buildings that do not have power and Eversource is working on those. These include 881 Commonwealth Ave and 10/25 Buick St, which are currently on generator power. These buildings are also still down: 68 St Mary’s, 110/112 Cummington, 665 Comm
