Description of Impact
Clients were intermittently unable to authenticate into Shibboleth protected services; clients encountered time outs, or errors establishing a secure connection.

IS&T teams have resolved the incident.

Description of Impact
Shibboleth is currently experiencing issues with timeouts or ‘Secure Connection Failed’ messages. This incident is preventing clients from accessing Shibboleth protected services like BUworks, and Blackboard Learn.
Current Status
IS&T teams have not yet identified the cause of the incident, but are investigating.
Additional Information
There are no current workarounds. It appears that the issue is not impacting all Shibboleth service
