Effective Thursday October 1, BU Linux 5 FTP service point “linst.bu.edu” will retired.  The decommissioning of this service point is part of a larger initiative to retire legacy Andrew File System (AFS) components at BU. A recent activity review shows this service point to be unused and anticipate not impact from this change.  Current package offerings made via http://bulinux.bu.edu will continue to be available and will not be impacted.
