Description of Impact
A power issue in one of Boston University’s data centers caused a number of online services to become unavailable. Most services were restored around 6pm. The last services (some WordPress functionality, BU’s electronic directory and major domo mailing lists) have been fully restored.
Incident Description and Resolution
IS&T teams have resolved the incident.
Additional Information
The cause of this incident was determined to be a power outage in one of BU’s data centers.

Description of Impact
A power issue in one of our data centers caused a number of online services to become unavailable. Most services have been restored.
Current Status
Most services have come back online. At this point, WordPress and CrashPlan are still experiencing performance issues. IS&T teams continue to work on fully resolving the issues.
Additional Information
Clients may need to forget the 802.1x wireless network and/or restart their mobile devices in order to regain access to the wireless network.
