Planned BUworks Outage – Dec 22 to 28

Please be advised that BUworks Services will have a scheduled outage over intersession beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday, December 22, 2017 through 6 p.m. Thursday, December 28, 2017. This outage is necessary to perform software updates required to implement a major upgrade to the BUworks hardware and database platform.

All BUworks services including time entry submission and approval, paystub viewing, journal entries, bank updates and address information, student/staff/faculty request form submissions, BW reports, and sourcing and procurement will be unavailable during this time.

Offices are advised to ensure:

  • All time is entered and approved prior to December 22 to avoid missed payments for payments due December 29.
  • Organizational Management (OM) and Personnel Administration (PA) forms are submitted according to the BUworks Forms Deadline calendar.
  • Journal entries are approved at the department level by 5pm on Tuesday Dec 19 to allow time for central office approval and posting to December.
