Description of Impact
Per the incident reported earlier today when a number of services were unavailable, voice mail was still unavailable and was in the process of being restored.

IS&T teams have resolved the incident. Voice mail service has been restored.

Please note that messages received between 12:15am and 7:30am on 7/27/2016 are still in the process of being restored and may not be available immediately.

Multiple services were unavailable including but not limited to: Weblogin/Shibboleth, Exchange E-mail (on premises), On Campus Voice Mail, MyPrint, Web Sites on www.bu.edu, Web Applications
Incident Description and Resolution
IS&T teams have resolved the incident. Please note that on-campus voice mail service isn’t expected to be fully restored until later this evening.

The cause of this incident was determined to be a network connection in a data center.

Description of Impact
We have been experiencing service-impacting issues with multiple services today including but not limited to: Weblogin/Shibboleth, Exchange E-mail (on premises), On Campus Voice Mail, MyPrint, Web Sites on www.bu.edu, Web Applications
Current Status
IS&T teams identified the cause of the issue as a network connection in the 881 Data Center and have implemented repairs. Impacted services are in the process of being rebooted. Full restoration of service is estimated to take approximately two hours.
