Blackboard Learn will be unavailable on July 2 from 12:00 a.m. until 11:59 p.m. During that time, IS&T will update Blackboard Learn to take advantage of important new features and fixes available from the vendor.

New features that will be available in this new release include:

• New Discussion Board – A new discussion thread details page displays all posts at once, highlights roles of elevated users, allows inline message replies, and more.
• Updated Calendar – See personal events in the same calendar view as course- and institution-level events, with a new user interface and export options.
• Global Navigation – Easily navigate to your other Blackboard Learn courses using My Blackboard.
