Description of Impact
ActiveSync for Exchange was intermittently unavailable. Clients who used mobile devices (such as iPhone or Android smart phones) that connect to BU’s Exchange mail servers via ActiveSync were unable to access this service. Clients could still access Exchange mail via http://xmail.bu.edu or through an email application such as Outlook.

IS&T teams have resolved the incident.

IS&T teams continue to investigate the cause of the incident. We have confirmed that some clients may experience intermittent issues connecting.
