Description of Impact

WordPress service was degraded. It was taking a very long time for WordPress pages to load.

Incident Description and Resolution

IS&T teams have resolved the incident. The WordPress asset backend has been restarted and service has been restored.

Additional Information

The cause of this incident was determined to be a large number of repetitive requests for a document from a single IP address that was consuming an inordinate amount of system resources.
