Collaborate and Avoid Traffic
With the upcoming Commonwealth Avenue Bridge Replacement, it may be challenging to travel to meetings around campus. Information Services & Technology (IS&T) offers several services to make it easier for the BU community to collaborate. We invite you to learn more about our featured service, Skype for Business, and many others by visiting the IT Help Center.
Skype for Business
Formerly called Lync, Skype for Business is available to connect the BU community from anywhere. Faculty and Staff can log in to Skype for Business from any computer using their BU email for instant messaging and meetings. Skype for Business also integrates with your Outlook calendar.
Guests and students can be invited to meetings using the Skype for Business Web App.
How can I learn more?
Visit the IT Help Center at 179 Amory St., on the CRC’s West Campus, and meet with a member of our staff to learn more about our collaboration services. Five BU Faculty or Staff members will be selected at random to receive a new conferencing device from a major brand. Winners will be notified by July 14th.
You may also visit our website at http://bu.edu/tech. If you have additional questions, feel free to contact the IT Help Center by calling (617) 353-HELP (4357) or submitting a ticket to ithelp@bu.edu.
