Join us for a presentation by Advanced Micro Devices (AMD)
Wednesday, November 28th, 2012
The GPU@BU community and Silicon Mechanics, Inc. would like to invite you to a talk and discussion led by members of the Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) technical team. AMD is a leading semiconductor design company that manufactures computer processors, accelerators, and graphics technologies which are used in everything from game consoles to supercomputers. The talk will cover AMD’s latest and future directions, as well as provide you with an opportunity to ask all of those burning questions you’ve got about OpenCL, APUs, ARM, and more.
The presentation will be given by members of the AMD engineering staff who are able to describe, on a technical level, how their latest technologies work and how we can best use them. They will also answer any questions we may have about usage of their current and upcoming products. The talk will be led by David Boris Cownie of Field Applications Engineering.
Please join us on Thursday December 13th from 2-4pm, in 24 Cummington (LSEB) room B03, in the basement. RSVP at http://doodle.com/vdn6z2pcb69gb72b, but please still come to the talk even if you forget to RSVP. All are welcome! If you have any questions, please contact Dan Kamalic, kamalic@bu.edu.
