Description of Impact

Services that utilize Shibboleth for authentication, such as Blackboard Learn, BU Google Apps, R25, and ServiceNow, were unavailable.

Incident Description and Resolution

IS&T teams have resolved the incident.

Additional Information

LDAP and authentication services have been restarted following a hardware failure.

Current Status

IS&T teams continues to investigate a resolution to this incident.

Additional Information

BU Google Mail is not available via web browser, but is still available via mobile devices, such as iPhone. Blackboard Learn is impacted, but Blackboard 8 and Blackboard Vista are not.
