IS&T has developed and successfully tested a remediation procedure for the issue caused by a defective McAfee antivirus definition file. If your computer experienced a problem related to this defective file, please take action as detailed below:
If you have a local IT support person or group, please contact them directly.
If you don’t have a local IT support group, the fastest way to get assistance is to go to www.bu.edu/help and enter a ticket. You may also contact the IT Help Center Service Desk at (617) 353-HELP (4357) and a staff member can enter a ticket on your behalf.
