Programs of Study

This thought will likely cross your mind as you scan the list of more than 250 majors and minors offered by our 10 undergraduate schools and colleges. Like the interests of our diverse student community, the breadth and depth of programs are remarkable. And so are your possibilities.

At BU you can major in ancient Greek and minor in the very modern study of remote sensing, both in the College of Arts & Sciences. You might pursue a double major in special education and elementary education both in the School of Education. Or you can major in business administration in the School of Management and minor in hospitality in the School of Hospitality Administration.

Besides the countless combinations of majors and minors, you can earn two different degrees at two different schools—say, a BS in Journalism (COM) and a BA in International Relations (CAS)—through the Boston University Collaborative Degree Program (BUCOP). Or follow one of several programs to earn an integrated, combined or accelerated bachelor’s and master’s degree in one.
