The Department of Economics is pleased to announce the addition of two new faculty members. Samuel Bazzi (University of California, San Diego) specializes in empirical development economics and has interests in international trade, labor economics, and applied econometrics. He joins us in July 2013. George Georgiadis (University of California, Los Angeles) primarily works in microeconomic theory and theoretical industrial organization and has interests in experimental economics. He will be on a post-doc at California Institute of Technology for 2013-14 and joins us in July 2014. |
