Undergraduate Program in Psychology
Psychology is the science of human and other animal behavior, both individual and social. Psychology attempts the systematic study of organisms, their behavior, their environment and their experience. Psychology attempts to discover facts, principles, and generalizations that increase our knowledge, understanding, and control of ourselves, and of social groups and institutions. Combined with appropriate related courses, this concentration provides students with an undergraduate background for entering the study of psychology, medicine, law and other professions. In addition, it provides a broad, fundamental background for a wide range of other pursuits.
