This site contains a list of the policies that have a broad application throughout the University. Policies pertaining to specific departments or schools can be found on the respective department or school websites.

As set forth in the University Policy Development Process Flow Chart, University Policies are further categorized as Administrative University Policies, Faculty University Policies, and Student University Policies. Each policy type has a separate, parallel track for development and approval. This chart provides an outline of the process to follow when developing a University Policy. Explanations for the three types of University Policies can be found in the definitions section of this website. Also, this website includes a policy development template and a list of issues to consider when developing a University Policy.
