Professor Christos Cassandras Wins 2026 IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems Society Outstanding Research Award

Professor Christos Cassandras, Distinguished Professor of Engineering and Head of the Division of Systems Engineering at Boston University, has been awarded the 2026 IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems Society (ITSS) Outstanding Research Award in recognition of his pioneering contributions to intelligent transportation systems, connected and automated vehicles, and smart city infrastructure.
