About Lisa Borden

Lisa is a brand strategist with more than 25 years of experience. She learned her craft and held leadership roles at leading advertising, branding and media companies including McCann Erickson, Chiat Day, FutureBrand, Hill Holliday, Arnold Worldwide and Bloomberg Media. She has worked with numerous Fortune 500 clients in the US and around the world to create insight-driven brand strategies, creative briefs and advertising campaigns. Lisa’s work has helped to grow awareness, relevance and business for brands that include: Bank of America, Mastercard, AT&T, Microsoft, Samsung, Progressive Insurance, L’Oréal, Carnival Cruise Lines, Amtrak, Novartis, CVS, The Aspen Institute and Georgetown University. Before coming to teach at BU, Lisa taught hundreds of clients and young agency staff members to identify insights and write strong creative briefs. She relies on her years of experience plus a combination of curiosity, creativity, and a love of culture to see every assignment with fresh eyes.
