The Office of Undergraduate Affairs offers weekly tours of the College of Communication building. If you are visiting in the Spring 2024 semester, tours will be offered every weekday class is in session at 11:30am, 1pm and 3pm beginning Monday, January 22nd. Tours are not offered and the building is closed on holidays. Please refer to BU’s academic calendar for BU’s observed holidays.

You do not need to sign up in advance to participate in these tours. All tours leave from the lobby of the COM building, at 640 Commonwealth Ave.

Graduate Programs Only (Master’s & Ph.D.)

The College of Communication (COM) invites prospective graduate students, applicants, and accepted students to speak with the Graduate Affairs team at COM. We can meet in person or via Zoom. Students will speak with a member of the Graduate Affairs team about the application, curriculum, faculty, student life at BU, in Boston, and what COM alums do.

Please note that in-person appointments must be scheduled 5 days before the preferred visit date. The College of Communication is open Monday-Friday.

Our Graduate Affairs team is happy to arrange a time to speak with you in-person or via zoom. We encourage you to review the college’s website for information about our graduate programs and admissions process. While these meetings are informal, we ask that you come prepared with specific questions. NOTE: Submission of this form does NOT confirm your meeting. Your meeting is not confirmed until you receive an email from comgrad@bu.edu.
