The Office of Undergraduate Affairs offers weekly tours of the College of Communication building. Tours are offered every weekday classes are in session, at 11am, 1pm and 3pm, beginning Tuesday, September 7th, 2021. (From Wednesday, March 30th, 2022 through Friday, April 29th, 2022 the morning tour will begin at 11:15am and run until 12pm). Tours are not offered and the building is closed on holidays. Please refer to BU’s academic calendar for BU observed holidays.

You do not need to sign up in advance to participate in these tours. All tours leave from the lobby of the COM building, at 640 Commonwealth Ave.

Visitors will be required to follow BU mask-wearing requirements, as well as municipal, state and federal regulations.

We also encourage you to explore the BU campus online from anywhere by using our interactive virtual tour or registering for a live virtual tour with one of our Student Ambassadors. You can connect with admissions officers and current BU students by participating in our virtual events.


Graduate Program Only

The College of Communication (COM) invites prospective graduate students, applicants, and accepted students to speak with the Graduate Affairs team at COM. Visitors to the College of Communication will be required to follow BU mask-wearing requirements, as well as municipal, state and federal regulations.

Our Graduate Affairs team is happy to arrange a time to speak with you in-person or via zoom. We encourage you to review the college’s website for information about our graduate programs and admissions process. While these meetings are informal, we ask that you come prepared with specific questions. NOTE: Submission of this form does NOT confirm your meeting. Your meeting is not confirmed until you receive an email from comgrad@bu.edu.
  • Our office is available for student meetings Monday- Friday, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. A meeting with a graduate assistant usually lasts about 30 minutes.
