Assistant Professor, Administrative Sciences

Dr. Cansu Tayaksi is an assistant professor of administrative sciences specializing in supply chain management, business analytics, and social sustainability. She has previous teaching experience at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where she worked as a postdoctoral associate. While at MIT, she was supporting the supply chain management master’s program at the Center for Transportation & Logistics and worked on an initiative aimed at increasing the survival of micro and small businesses in developing countries by leveraging their business and supply chain management capabilities. In 2014, Dr. Tayaksi was awarded $35,000 in grant funding by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey to support her entrepreneurial effort to cofound a company that used smart devices to optimize warehouse processes.
