Welcome to Boston University’s Metropolitan College (MET)! To help you prepare for this exciting educational journey, during the first week of the fall and spring semesters we offer orientation events for admitted undergraduate and graduate students that will introduce important information and valuable resources available at BU. Please plan to join us.

Admitted Graduate Student Orientation

The Metropolitan College Graduate Student Orientation is offered to all admitted, on-campus graduate degree students in addition to the orientations held by various graduate departments and degree programs at MET.

  • Students studying on campus should RSVP for the on-campus orientation using the link they will receive via email. International students studying on campus will also receive an email from the International Student & Scholars Office (ISSO) about an additional orientation.
  • Students studying in online programs will receive an email about their orientation separately.

During the MET Graduate Student Orientation we will go over academic expectations for graduate students and explain general BU resources. In addition, various graduate departments and degree programs at MET will be hosting meetings at the conclusion of the event.
