BU in Madrid students will spend a night in Burgos

Burgos has a large monumental complex, including the Cathedral of Santa María, an exponent of the Gothic architecture declared World Heritage by UNESCO, as the Monasterio de Santa María la Real de Las Huelgas and the Cartuja de Miraflores. In addition, the city is crossed by the Pilgrim’s Way Camino de Santiago, another World Heritage Site, and is located less than 15 km. from the archaeological site of Atapuerca, also under the protection of UNESCO since 2000. The Museum of Human Evolution exposes the most significant fossils found in the site.

BU students will have the opportunity to visit all these important places and the Burgos Castle.

Please note the students are made aware that by signing their name on the trip sign-up sheets, they are committing themselves to participate in an activity organized by the Boston University Madrid program that generates expenses. In the case that they do not participate for any reason (excluding medical reasons), they are liable for all non-refundable costs associated with their expected attendance.
