Mental Health
Mental Health Support Through ISOS
Boston University Madrid provides students with access to mental health support through International SOS (ISOS).
How It Works:
- Five free remote counseling sessions are available for short-term concerns like homesickness, breakups, grief, or academic stress.
- If long-term mental health care is needed (e.g., for anxiety, depression, or eating disorders), ISOS will assess your needs and refer you to a provider in their network if necessary.
- Important: Students must complete the five WPO sessions before being referred for long-term care, unless it’s an emergency. ISOS will guide you through the next steps if additional care is needed.
How to Set Up Counseling:
- Call ISOS: +1 215 942 8478
- Use the ISOS app
- Tap “Need Assistance?” at the bottom of the screen to speak or text with an agent.
