Video and Recording Requests
There are several media services available at STH for smaller events hosted by the STH community. For larger events that are expecting 100+ attendants or require professional-caliber services, please contact Boston University Learning & Events Services. This office provides services at different price points that are available to the entire Boston University community.
STH Media Assistants
The Office of Communications coordinates several student employees who operate recording equipment for STH events. They are equipped to set up and run:
- Livestream
- STH-branded Zoom meetings and webinars
- Video recording and editing
These services are only available to STH community members. To schedule one of these services for an event, please fill out the following form.
Make sure to fill out your request 3 weeks in advance or we may not be able to meet your needs. If you have any questions, please contact sthcomm@bu.edu.
STH Community Center
The Community Center (B24/B23) has some additional sound equipment in addition to the projector systems. This equipment includes:
- A standalone podium with built-in speaker and mic
- A clip-on (lavalier) microphone
If you are scheduling an event and would like to make use of this equipment, please contact ithelp@bu.edu. This equipment is only available for use by STH community members.
If you would like to request additional IT/AV equipment for a classroom, meeting, event, etc. Please contact the Boston University Learning & Events Technology Service team.
Classroom AV Equipment
All classrooms in STH are equipped with a projector system. Cables to connect laptops can be found in each room. Additional cables and certain adapters can be checked out from the STH Library on the 2nd floor. For immediate assistance with classroom technology:
- In rooms 325, 306, 209, 115, 111a, B24 (Oxnam), or B23(Hartman) contact ithelp@bu.edu or call 617-358-6108.
- In all other classrooms call contact classrooms@bu.edu or call 617-353-3227.
