Visit Us
The School of Theology’s Admissions Office loves to welcome prospective students to campus, as we believe it is the best way to experience the fullness of our community life and educational opportunities. At the same time, an in-person visit is not necessary to get a glimpse of the School. Whether you’d like to visit campus or plan a Zoom-based online “visit,” we are happy to help you!
Feel free to email, call, or text our Admissions Office (617-353-3036) to set up a time to speak with an admissions officer and schedule a visit.
Attend Our “Catch-a-Glimpse” Visit Days
Catch-a-Glimpse is our longstanding open house event where we welcome prospective students to campus to “catch a glimpse” of all that’s happening in the life of our school. This day will serve to help prospective students learn the basics about BUSTH and will provide an opportunity to engage in the School’s academic and community life, as well as share important information about housing and financial aid. You can register for this exciting day by clicking the button below.
We announce new Catch-a-Glimpse opportunities each spring for prospective students. If you would like to schedule an online or in-person individual visit, email or call our Admissions Office (617-353-3036) to set up a time to speak with an admissions officer and schedule a visit.
Read our Viewbooks
As a means of getting to know the School of Theology from afar, please read our Viewbook. A master’s-level brochure can also be found here. These publications include current student and graduate profiles, letters from our Deans, and pictures of our community life.
Getting to Campus
Our Admissions Office is on the first floor (Suite 108) of the School of Theology building, which is located at 745 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston, MA 02215. Our building is next to Marsh Chapel at the center of the University’s Charles River Campus. The “BU Central” stop along the Green B-Line is our nearest subway “T” stop, and is located directly across the street from our building.
Accommodations When Visiting
There are a number of hotels near the School of Theology where prospective students often stay when visiting. The Inn at Brookline can provide accommodations within walking distance of BU’s campus. Those traveling by a car might consider The Walker Center, which is farther from campus (a 45-minute subway commute) but provides free parking and bed and breakfast style accommodations, all with easy access to the “T” for traveling to campus via the subway.
Paid parking is available on-campus, and can be located using BU’s Parking Services map.
Unfortunately, STH cannot provide funding or travel reimbursement for prospective students to visit campus. We make it up with generous financial aid for degree programs.
