For international students, while working in the United States might be exciting and rewarding, it can be a very challenging process from searching for a position to finally getting hired. There are many added difficulties, the most common of which being the process to obtain an H-1B work visa.

How should international students create an effective job searching strategy while they are in graduate school? What tips should they learn when submitting online applications? How should they discuss and negotiate with the employers on applying for an H-1B visa?

With all these questions, the Graduate Affairs office is delighted to invite Andrew H. Chen, the Founder of F1 Hire, for an in-person presentation to guide international students at the College of Communication to navigate the job searching and visa sponsorship process.
