In today’s data-driven world, research and data have become two most important elements in developing an effective communication strategy and execution. How should future communication professionals understand and incorporate data-driven insights into their daily job? As grad students in communication, what essential skills related to data analysis and research we need to build up step by step in order to better prepare for a career path?

To unfold why and how data and research matter to communication professionals, COM Grad Affairs office will invite four outstanding panelists from the industry and academia for a discussion on Friday, October 6 at 10am (EST). They will share their understandings about the importance of data and their experience on using data and research in their daily work to all grad students at College of Communication.

Panel:
Angela Dwyer (Head of Insights at Fullintel)
Yi Grace Ji (Assistant Professor at BU College of Communication)
Cindy Tungate (President of Plan-it Marketing)
Madeline Desouza (Principal of Plan-it Marketing)
