Program Coordinator, Full-Time, Higher Ed: Atlanta, GA

The Emory University Office of Spiritual and Religious Life (OSRL) welcomes applications for the position of Program Coordinator.

Reporting to the OSRL Chief of Staff, the Program Coordinator position has two main emphases: program support and communications. Program support involves serving as the main programmatic assistant for OSRL programs, including pre-orientation, orientation, outreach events, chaplaincy events, meetings, conferences, travel programs, and fund-raising initiatives. Communications includes publishing newsletters, social media posts, presentations, reports, and other communications. Other duties essential to this role are: staffing the OSRL AMUC office suite, hiring and supervising student workers, and leading departmental outreach initiatives.

Examples of programs the Program Coordinator may help plan and execute include: the WISE interfaith social justice pre-orientation program, orientation and fall start-up programs, Homecoming and Family Weekend, resource fairs, Inter-Religious Council programs, holiday programs (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Winter Holidays, MLK, Spring Holidays), lecture/dinner events, Multifaith Baccalaureate Ceremony, Commencement/Alumni Reunion programs, advancement programs, memorial services, vigils in response to current events, and interfaith retreats, educational programs, service days and social justice projects, dialogue programs, conferences, and travel programs.
