Alfred Slighter (STH ’52)
Dr. Alfred R. Slighter, a retired clergyman of the United Church of Christ died on April 29, 2018 at Garden Square in Greeley, CO.
Dr. Slighter served churches in Montana, California, and Colorado. In the early 1960s, Dr. Slighter was active in the Civil Rights Movement and helped bring Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. to San Francisco. He was an active and influential member of each community to which he belonged.
