BUTV10 wins at Student Production Awards

BUTV10, Boston University’s student produced and managed content distribution network, received top honors in four categories in this year’s Student Production Awards, presented by the Boston/New England chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
BUTV10 winners:
- Newscast: The Vote 2020, three-night presidential election coverage.
- Public Affairs/Community Service: On that Point, Supreme Court episode.
- Live Sports Event: BU Women’s Basketball.
- Sports Program: Offsides, NBA Draft episode.
BUTV10 also receive honorable mention awards for:
- Non-Fiction, Short Form: Amber, BUTV10’s bilingual, cultural series’ episode on the Coronavirus and Asian Discrimination.
- Non-Fiction, Short Form: Gov’t Center, election episode featuring Boston Mayor Marty Walsh.
- Magazine Program: Black Lives and Self Evident Truths, coverage and analysis of racial injustice and divides in America.
- Non-Fiction, Long Form: From a Distance: BUTV10 Variety Hour, a virtual showcase featuring on-campus talent and celebrity BU alumni.

BUTV10 produces student-created news, sports, drama, comedy, and variety programs live streamed or on-demand at BUTV10.com, and featured on campus television channel 10. Established in 2005, BUTV10 is housed in Boston University’s College of Communication.
