Prof. Shively Smith Featured as a Panelist in New Wabash Center Conversation Series
March 2021 – Assistant Professor of New Testament Shively T. J. Smith was a panelist in Episode One of the Wabash Center’s Conversations on Teaching and Spirituality. The episode, titled Exploring Thurman’s “The Sound of the Genuine,” uses Howard Thurman’s Spelman College 1980 baccalaureate speech as a backdrop to address the challenges educators face when bringing their whole selves to teaching.
