Her research has shaped trauma-informed approaches to chaplaincy and theological education, particularly in seminary contexts, and she is the author of a book called Spirit and Trauma:A Theology of Remaining and Resurrecting Wounds, and she is a leading voice in rethinking Christian theology and how it engages with suffering, surviving, and the work of healing.
