Development Associate,
Por Cristo is a Boston-based charitable medical services organization that has been providing medical care to those in need in Latin America, particularly the country of Ecuador, for the past thirty-five years.
Position Description – Will work closely with staff, particularly Executive Director, in advancing mission of Por Cristo. Responsibilities include: donor outreach through oral and written communications, data base (Abila) management and maintenance, foundation research and proposal writing, donor mailing production, marketing material development, website updating, on-line marketing and other duties as assigned.
Requirements – Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree, as well as, three to five years of development experience. Excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, a must. Proven track record of successfully working independently and also as a member of a team. Ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks, set priorities and complete responsibilities in timely manner. Experience with Microsoft Office and Abila preferred. Understanding of developing world a definite advantage.
Part-time position of approximately 20 hours per week with flexible office hours.
