Rev. Dr. Terry Litton, Age 82 born in Hagerstown, Maryland November 23, 1941, passed away peacefully in his home in New Concord, Ohio on May 25, 2024.
During his illustrious 42-year career as a United Methodist pastor, he served numerous churches in both the US and abroad including: McZena Hope-Fairview UM Chippewa Church at the Lake in Chippewa; Emmanuel UM in Ashland; Trinity UM-Orrville; Finchley Church in England, UK, where he participated in the exchange program; all before arriving in Cambridge to pastor 23 years at First United Methodist Church.

He leaves to cherish his memory wife, Marilee (nee: Slay – married 2006); four children, Michelle (Charles) Betts, Beth (Brian) Canfield, Amy (Steve) Burd, and step-daughter, Jessica (Daniel) Nicewarner; seven grandchildren, Chelsea Betts, Nathan Betts, Emma Canfield, Ike Canfield, Duncan Burd, and step-grandchildren, Adeline Nicewarner, and Oliver Nicewarner; great grandson, Grayson Speicher; and special in-laws, Mark, Nan, and Marco.

Calling will be held on June 1, 2024, at Auble Funeral Home, 512 E. Oak Street, Orrville, OH, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
A private graveside service will be held at Crown Hill Cemetery with Rev. Craig Redecker officiating.
