Alumnus Rev. Philip K. Kirui has been installed and ordained recently as the 9th Settled Pastor of Pilgrim Congregational Church in Greenbay Wisconsin, under the auspices of the National Association of Congregational Churches.
On Saturday, November 9, 2025, our Pilgrim Congregational Church family experienced a truly unforgettable moment as we
gathered to celebrate the Ordination and Installation of Rev. Philip Kibet Kirui as our 9th Settled Pastor. This sacred milestone, held under the auspices of the Wisconsin Congregational Association and the National Association of Congregational Christian Churches (NACCC), marked a new chapter in the life of our church, one filled with hope, gratitude, and deep joy.
Friends and loved ones joined us from across the United States and from Rev. Kirui’s home country of Kenya. Their presence made the day feel wonderfully global, reminding us of the wide circle of support and fellowship that surrounds Pastor Phil and our congregation. Our sanctuary overflowed with praise as voices lifted in worship, music filled the air, and prayers were offered with heartfelt sincerity. Church leaders, clergy partners, family members, and friends spoke words of blessing and
encouragement.
