Profile
Lucas holds a PhD in Contemporary History from the Autonomous University of Madrid. Additionally, he holds a Master’s degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language and a Bachelor’s degree in History. His research primarily explores the intricate relations between the United States and the Franco and Salazar dictatorships in Spain and Portugal following World War II. Lucas also conducts research on History education for second language learners. Remarkably, he has collaborated extensively with esteemed American universities such as Virginia Tech, Middlebury College, and New York University.
