Sam is a theologian and philosopher specializing in ecological theology, semiotics, philosophies of meaning, and new materialisms. At the intersection of theology, science, culture, and economics, his work investigates theological imagination in “secular” spaces, and deploys ancient wisdom traditions to meet today’s urgent ecological and ethical crises.
